HELLO
I’m Lis McGuire, a registered career development professional (RCDP) and the founder of Sunrise Career Guidance.
My mission is to help people to feel confident, optimistic, and excited about their career.
I do this by offering personal and group-based career guidance to help my clients to identify, plan, and take positive next steps.
I want my clients to feel about their career the way I felt as a child early on summer mornings when we were heading to the beach.
I always felt so excited and I remember my heart feeling light in anticipation of what was to come.
Through my work, I aim to help you feel a sense of optimism, promise, and possibility about your career, just as I felt hopeful and excited about my day out in the sunshine.
I have an MA in Career Management and a Level 7 Qualification in Career Guidance (QCG).
I am also registered on the UK Register of Career Development Professionals.
As a registered career development professional (RCDP), I abide by the Career Development Institute (CDI) code of ethics and undertake 25+ hours of continuing professional development (CPD) each year to refresh and evolve my practice.
